GMS approach

GMS adopt a very "hands on" approach to dealing with China. Our engineers travel to China regularly; on average we have at least one UK engineer in China for 11 months of the year.

GMS provide full project management and logistic support and provide a fast track into approved manufacturers. Our networks are continually being developed and enhanced which allows us to provide customers with good quality, low costs products in a diverse range of industries, from medical equipment to automotive, including some of the world’s leading car and construction equipment manufacturers. We have 3 regional networks in China and currently import 20-25 containers per month. This allows consolidation of shipments to minimise shipping costs.

Recognised as being experts in our field, we have worked closely with the North East Chamber of Commerce to assist local businesses in becoming more competitive.

GMS have customers as far a field as Australia, North America and the Middle East. We aim to provide good quality products, at the lowest possible price and on time to our customers’ site. In addition we offer engineering consultancy services, to assist in the development of new products and maximise the benefits of dealing with Chinese manufacturers. We provide a project management service, from initial design though to delivery of finished components or assemblies.
